West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino has hit out at the club's chairman Jeremy Peace after seeing a third Tottenham bid rejected.

The England Under-21 striker has been linked with the north London club all summer and has not played in any of the last three matches for Tony Pulis' team.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has seen a third bid for the striker rejected, an offer, according to BBC West Midlands, that was worth just £5million up front, with the rest said to be in instalments and incentives for a total deal worth around £23m.

Peace said earlier this summer that the striker, who scored 20 goals in all competitions last season, will not be sold at any price.

"Sad how i cant say exactly how the club has treated me but i can officially say i will never play Jeremy Peace," Berahino, 22, tweeted.

Despite the £22m move for Hueng-Min Son from Bayer Leverkusen over the weekend, Spurs continue to be linked with numerous targets.

A proposed Tottenham move for Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama also appears to be dead in the water.

Tottenham are reported to be in the process of making a fourth bid.
