At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The 25-year-old made just 31 appearances for the Magpies before leaving for a loan spell last summer at the Velodrome with Marseille. According to the Newcastle Chronicle, Cabella has a £6m buy-out written into contract, potentially opening the door for a permanent return to his homeland.
Just 12 months ago, the former Montpellier man spoke about his desire to emulate Peter Beardsley in the North East. Cabella said: “I have watched Youtube a lot to watch Peter Beardsley over again.
“When I arrived at Newcastle every player here told me to check what he did on Youtube. Peter is a top-class player. I looked and ‘Woh!’ He was brilliant.
“More than that he is a great human being and a very nice guy. I like him and I hope to learn more from him.”
Newcastle are currently two points cut-off in the Premier League relegation zone following the defeat to Watford last weekend. Steve McClaren takes his side to Everton tonight (Wednesday) hoping to pick up just a sixth win of the campaign so far.
