Barcelona wished their winger, Manchester United target, Pedro a happy birthday today, hoping to avoid a situation just like Yaya Toure at Manchester City last year. The Spanish club, however, tagged in the wrong Pedro...

Instead of wishing happy birthday to their player @_Pedro17_, they missed out an underscore and sent their congratulations to someone called @_Pedro17.

Pedro, 28 today, has been on the periphery of the Barca squad in the last couple of seasons, and it seems he is also on the periphery of the thoughts of the Barcelona social media controller.

The latest on the Spain winger's transfer away from Barca is that he is keen on a switch to Old Trafford, according to reports in Spain.

According to the report from the prominent Spanish publication, United have entered negotiations at around £18m and would be prepared to pay up to £23m to sign the 27-year-old Spain international.

While Pedro made 35 appearances in the league last season, 20 of those came as a substitute from the bench as he found himself behind the attacking triumvirate of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez.
