Manchester United left back Patrice Evra has 'agreed' a deal to sign for Juventus, according to reports.

The Frenchman has made a verbal agreement via email while on holiday in Los Angeles, according to the Daily Mail.

With Luke Shaw having arrived from Southampton, Evra is facing the prospect of being back up at Old Trafford should he decide to stay.

The 33-year-old started in four of France's five matches at the World Cup and missed just five matches for United in the Premier League last season.

United handed Evra, who has often captained the club, a new contract earlier this summer but appear willing to let him leave.

Evra is on holiday in the US for a post-World Cup break.
