Neymar has fuelled talk of a return to Barcelona by revealing his best football memory was with Barcelona in the 6-1 win against current club Paris Saint-Germain.

The Brazilian has so far failed to succeed with PSG after injuries throughout his two seasons in the French capital have hurt their chances of success in the Champions League.

Neymar’s failure to turn up for pre-season has angered the Ligue 1 champions however, with the club revealing they are taking disciplinary action and now thought to be prepared to cash in on the most expensive player in the world.

The Spaniards responded to a crushing 4-0 first leg defeat and reacted in the second leg after Edinson Cavani’s away goal, with Neymar’s double at the death and then Sergi Roberto’s stoppage time winner sending the Nou Camp into wild celebrations.

“When we won against PSG with Barcelona it was completely… we all went crazy afterwards,” Neymar admitted.

“I believe it was the best feeling for all of us.

“The ‘Remontada’ against Paris, what we felt when we scored the sixth goal…

“I have never felt anything like this. It was incredible!”

Neymar has three years remaining on his contract, with Barcelona’s £107m move for Antoine Griezmann potentially leaving him stuck with PSG for a third season.
