Neymar has once again dropped a hint that he is ready to consider a return to La Liga with long-term suitors Real Madrid.

The Brazilian international has been almost constantly linked with a move back to Spain since he abandoned FC Barcelona in a £200m move to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2017. High-ranking officials at Madrid have claimed privately that the player had to move to Paris in order to then get his dream move to Madrid, and Florentino Perez has continued to pursue the PSG star in hope that the Ligue 1 champions may decide to cash in on him and make Kylian Mbappe the centre of their project.

"If I want to play for Madrid? They are one of the biggest clubs in the world," he told Globo TV.

"Any player linked with Real Madrid would feel attracted to play there," he added, before trying to dampen his comments.

"For the love of God, I am not speaking about playing for Madrid, calm down," Neymar said.

But for every comment about how much he wanted to stay in France, Neymar seemed to drop a qualifying comment that suggested a move to the Bernabeu remained a possibility.

"I feel happy in Paris, I am very well here... but, in the future, nobody knows.

"It is obvious that Real Madrid are a great team, one of the best in the world, I have great respect for them but, today, I see myself in Paris.

"Today I feel very happy in Paris, I only have eyes for PSG.

"I do not feel attracted by any (club), I do not want to leave Paris but, between now and the next three months, nobody knows what will happen," he concluded.
