The left winger, known more commonly as Rhau, previously attended the Santos academy like the Paris Saint-Germain superstar.
And after previously visiting his cousin in the capital on several occasions, Rhau will now link up with the non-professional outfit, who currently play in the sixth division of French football.
FC Lyon are the third oldest club in the country after being formed in 1893 and have a tradition for developing young players.
Rhau’s mother is the aunt of Neymar’s father, who is known for managing his son throughout his career.
Rhau, 26, has now made the move to join his cousin in France after time spent in the lower divisions in Brazil.
