Barcelona forward Neymar has revealed that he did hold talks with Manchester United this summer over a potential move, but there was no "concrete" offer made.
The Barca star was linked a move to Old Trafford all summer, with reports suggesting that United would make a world-record move for the player. Neymar has confirmed that talks did take place, but not offer was made to Barcelona.
“We had conversations, but there was nothing concrete,” Neymar told ESPN.
“I heard that there were offers, but none made it to me.”
The 23-year-old, whose current Barca contract stipulates that a new deal must be agreed this season, did add that he was happy at the La Liga giants, and wants to become the best player in the world this year by winning the Ballon d'Or.
"I want to keep giving my all and evolve season to season. I hope I will be on the Ballon d'Or podium this year."
