Chelsea reportedly face an uphill battle to keep Nemanja Matic at Stamford Bridge this summer.

The 27-year-old is one of several first-team players – including Pedro, Oscar, Eden Hazard and Diego Costa – who are said to be considering their futures in the capital.

Guus Hiddink’s men remain just four points above the Premier League relegation zone – and 14 adrift of fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur.

According to the Daily Mail, the former Benfica central midfielder is unsettled and may move to reignite his stuttering career just eight months after winning the Premier League title.

The report states Matic’s team-mates have already become convinced he will leave Chelsea this summer despite the new manager’s identity remaining a mystery.

The Serbia international has made 87 appearances since re-joining the Blues, scoring four goals, along the way to lifting the title in May and the Capital One Cup trophy last season.

Meanwhile, Papy Djilibodji has joined Werder Bremen on loan while young forward Bertrand Traore is taking some time out to consider loan offers from Borussia Dortmund and Hamburg.
