Lazio president Claudio Lotito has revealed that the Italian club will consider selling star player Sergej Milinkovic-Savic if the right offer is made.

The 24-year-old Serbia international has been linked to a host of clubs this summer and his agent, the ex-Chelsea striker Mateja Kezman, is expected to this week conduct talks with Manchester United.

Lazio boss Simone Inzaghi has expressed his wish to hold onto Milinkovic-Savic, but Lotito has admitted the club will listen to offers out of their respect for the player.

“We'll see the conditions that line up,” Lotito told Sky Sport Italia.

“Milinkovic has a good rapport with the club, just as the club has with him.

“If some offers were to be presented, we'd evaluate them with a spirit of collaboration that looks after the interests of the club and the player.

“We'll make the decisions that are best for everyone. The investments we made last summer should've allowed us to qualify for the Champions League, but we hope to have learned from the experience.”

Milinkovic-Savic has been a first-team regular for Lazio for four seasons now. He also played all three of Serbia’s group stage matches at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
