Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insists Romelu Lukaku is not fit to play with his Manchester United future uncertain.

The Red Devils are in Singapore preparing to face Inter Milan in their latest pre-season friendly.

And with Solskjaer preferring Marcus Rashford to lead his attack, Lukaku’s future remains unclear, with Saturday’s opponents strongly linked with a move.

But Solskjaer was defiant when quizzed over the Belgian’s availability to face the Nerazzurri: “No, he’s not fit, so he won’t be available.

Pushed on whether there has been progress over a potential exit, Solskjaer insisted there was no more to add.

“I don’t have any updates from the last time I spoke to you,” the Norwegian remarked.

Lukaku struggled after Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho last season, with his profile failing to suit the new style of play.

The 26-year-old could only manage 12 Premier League goals last term, with 15 in all competitions.
