Manchester United are apparently closing in on the signing of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still keen to add some new faces to his squad before the start of the Premier League season despite the signings of Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

A new central midfielder appears to be high on his shopping list, especially with Paul Pogba edging closer and closer towards the exit door.

Serbian international Milinkovic-Savic looks to be the No 1 choice with a deal close.

Gazzetta dello Sport report that an offer in the region of €75m has been made with €5m of easily achievable add-ons.

They say that the player has already agreed terms over a five-year contract to move to Old Trafford.

Elsewhere United could be set to splash out on Lille winger Nicolas Pepe.

The Ivorian international is hot property this summer with the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Bayern Munich all linked over the last few months.

But it appears to be United who are set to win the race.

Yahoo Sport France report that an opening of £71million has been knocked back but with terms between the player and United already agreed a deal could be close.

It is suggested Pepe has agreed to a five-year deal plus the option of an additional year.

Paulo Dybala has reportedly opened the door to a move away from Juventus.

The Argentine international could apparently leave Turin and has told the club he would leave if they wanted to sell him.

That's according to Tuttosport.

Dybala could help Juventus make a move for Pogba with any part-exchange likely to lower United's £150m asking price for the Frenchman.

Juve are said to value the 25-year-old at £70m with Paris Saint-Germain also interested.

A deal for Bruno Fernandes appears to be edging towards a positive conclusion.

United are at the front of the queue for the Portuguese international after an outstanding season last term for Sporting.

They are ready to cash in now with the two clubs apparently now only haggling over the fee with everything else in place.

Gazzetta dello Sport say that United have offered £55m for the 24-year-old with Sporting wanting closer to £62m.

Meanwhile, United remain interested in Sean Longstaff but are still someway short of Newcastle's valuation of the player.

The Magpies want as much as £50m for the midfielder, according to the Daily Mail, having watched Wan-Bissaka move for the same figure earlier in the window.

Woodward is said to value him closer to £20m but is set to make an improved offer in the coming days.
