Jose Mourinho will not prevent any player from leaving Manchester United in January, leaving the door open for Memphis Depay and Morgan Schneiderlin to leave the club.

The Daily Mail understands that the pair will be allowed to leave Old Trafford next month after struggling to adjust at the club under Mourinho this season.

The United duo set the club back £50million in 2015 and Mourinho is prepared to try and recoup some of that money if the players favour a deal elsewhere.

Depay and Schneiderlin have made 16 appearances combined for United and neither have started a game in the Premier League this season.

However, their United nightmare could come to an end next month, with Everton the front runners to sign both players in Janaury.

Ronald Koeman is believed to be a big admirer of Depay following his exploits at PSV Eindhoven in Holland and has previously worked with Schneiderlin at Southampton.

West Brom have also reportedly expressed interest in signing Schneiderlin next month.

Manchester United are keeping an eye on Netherlands youngster Daishawn Redan after a tip off from his club’s former scout.

Ex-Ajax academy scout Henry de Regt joined United earlier this year under Louis Van Gaal and he looks set to use his links at his old club to bring their latest wonderkid to Old Trafford.

The 15-year-old caught de Regt’s eye with some impressive performances for the Ajax academy and, according to the Mirror, has already agreed to join United.

The Dutch striker has been in red-hot form for his academy side in front of goal and is currently a part of the Netherlands Under-17’s squad.

If the move goes ahead, Redan will follow in the footsteps of fellow compatriots Timothy Fosu-Mensah, who burst onto the scene under Louis Van Gaal last season, and academy prospect Tahith Chong.

Michael Keane could be the second former Manchester United player to rejoin the club after catching the eye of Jose Mourinho.

United broke the world transfer record to bring Paul Pogba back to Old Trafford from Juventus in the summer and, after Keane’s superb start to the season with Burnley, The Sun believe that he could be joining him.

The 23-year-old was sold in 2014 after making just one appearance for the club but has since made the step up to the Premier League after spells at numerous Championship clubs.

Keane has been a commanding influence on Burnley’s back four after gaining promotion from the Championship last season and has been one of the Premier League’s best centre backs under Sean Dyche this campaign.

The powerful defender also earned a call-up to Gareth Southgate’s England squad for fixtures against Scotland and Spain last month but didn’t make an appearance.

And, even though Mourinho was complimentary of defenders Marcos Rojo and Phil Jones in recent games, the 53-year-old could be tempt to strengthen his defensive ranks in January.
