The Baggies are yet to win under Pardew and the former Crystal Palace manager believes they need more goals in the team if they are to have a chance of survival.
Ings was a target of Pardew’s at Palace and he has reignited that interest, setting sporting director Nicky Hammond to work on a deal for the former Burnley man that would likely begin as a loan.

Aleksandar Mitrovic is another forward on West Brom’s radar, having been offered to the club by an intermediary.
