The Slovenian has a €100m release clause in his contract and has so far stalled over a new deal with Atletico which would see his valuation rise.
Both Arsenal and Liverpool are eager to sign a new goalkeeper this summer, with Atletico manager Diego Simeone now increasingly convinced that the 25-year-old will move away.
As such, the Europa League winners have started their search for a replacement, with numerous stories in the Spanish press this morning claiming Atletico will make a bid for Athletic Bilbao player Kepa.
The 23-year-old is very highly rated and has recently broken into the senior Spanish national team, where is understudy to David de Gea.
Kepa’s release clause has been set at €70m – meaning Atletico would be able to fund the deal if Oblak does decide to walk away this summer.
