Jonjo Shelvey completes £5m switch from Liverpool to Swansea
Attacking midfielder had been linked with a move away from Anfield

Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvey has completed a £5m move to Swansea.
The 21-year-old had been linked with a move away from Anfield this summer, with Norwich, Crystal Palace and West Ham all believed to have been interested in his signature.
However, earlier today it was revealed that Swansea had stolen a march on their Premier League rivals by agreeing a fee for the England international.
Shelvey has signed a four-year deal at the Welsh club.
A move to Swansea comes with the incentive of Europa League football, something that Liverpool cannot offer this season, but his lack of first-team appearances is seen as the reason for his decision to leave the Reds.
Since making his debut for Roy Hodgson’s England side last November in a friendly against Sweden, the former Charlton player has struggled to force his way into the set-up.
A statement from Liverpool read: "Liverpool Football Club have confirmed Jonjo Shelvey has completed a transfer to Swansea City," said a Reds statement.
"Everybody at Liverpool FC would like to wish Jonjo all the best for the future."
