Your support makes all the difference.Hull City manager Steve Bruce has revealed that he is interested in continuing his summer spending at the KC Stadium by bringing in Carl Jenkinson on loan from Arsenal.
The Tigers have already spent considerably this summer with Jake Livermore and Robert Snodgrass both costing in excess of £7m while Tom Ince winged in on a free transfer.
Bruce's side recorded their highest-ever finish in the Premier League last season while also reaching the FA Cup final at Wembley.
Now with Europa League football to contend with, which starts against AS Trencin this week, Hull needed to strengthen ahead of the new campaign.
With a deal for Dundee United's Scotland international Andrew Robertson set to be completed in the coming days, Bruce's plans are falling into place.
Curtis Davies, the Tigers' captain, also looks likely to stay after speculation linked him with a move away from East Yorkshire.
Jenkinson, who has fallen down the pecking order at the Emirates after Mathieu Debuchy's arrival from Newcastle United, could now be available on loan.
Bruce, following a 1-1 pre-season draw with Barnsley, said: "I had a conversation with Arsenal four or five weeks ago to say 'would it be possible?', and apparently it might be.
"We'll look at that situation. We haven't had confirmation from Arsenal and I would hate to upset them by speaking out of turn but we are led to believe the kid might be available for loan.
"If he is, then of course we would be interested."
