5 August: Stoke midfielder Seyi Olofinjana is on the verge of a £3m move to Barclays Premier League rivals Hull. The 29-year-old Nigerian had previously spoken to French side Monaco but preferred to stay in England, and after the Potters accepted a similar bid from the Tigers he is now in talks about signing a three-year contract at the KC Stadium.
4 August: Ross McCormack believes Cardiff may have priced him out of a move to the Premier League. The Scotland striker impressed in his debut season in the Welsh capital, scoring 21 goals in 38 league appearances, leading to talk of a summer move to Hull.

28 July: Hull City are still keen to sign Fulham striker Bobby Zamora despite the London club failing to land Peter Crouch, manager Phil Brown said today. Hull have agreed a fee to buy Zamora from Fulham, who lost out to Tottenham Hotspur in the chase for England striker Crouch, but agreeing personal terms with the 28-year-old Londoner has proved a stumbling block.
