Leicester are understood to be holding out for a world record fee for a defender, surpassing the £75m paid by Liverpool for Virgil van Dijk last year.
United are keen to add Maguire to their ranks as part of manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s rebuild, but will now enter the final week of the summer transfer window without their key defensive target.
When asked about Maguire’s situation on Wednesday, Rodgers told BBC Radio Leicestershire that he was “relaxed” and that no satisfactory offers had been made.
“The player has been first class with his attitude in his training,” the Leicester manager said. “The club hasn’t changed its stance in terms of the valuation for the player.
“As of this day, the valuation for Harry hasn’t been met that would trigger any communication with the player and the other club.
“For me, Top [Srivaddhanaprabha, chairman], John [Rudkin, director of football] and Susan [Whelan, chief executive] are doing a great job in relation to that. There’s no change.”
Maguire missed training with Leicester on Monday through illness, but reported back for duty a day later and could play in their friendly against Atalanta on Friday night.
The 26-year-old is understood to be keen on a move to United and has made his wishes known to Leicester, but he will not force his way out of the club.
