Fiorentina admit they are in the dark about the intentions of their star striker Stevan Jovetic.
Reports in Italy claim today that Chelsea are preparing to bid £20million for the 22-year-old Montenegrin.
Sporting director of Fiorentina, Daniele Prade, is unaware of Blues' intentions but has urged Jovetic to clarify his future.
"He (Jovetic) must tell us what his real intentions are," Daniele Prade said to Sky Italia.
"We want to build our team around him. He has a contract until 2016 but he has to be the one to say what he wants.
"Either an offer that we cannot turn down arrives or nothing happens.
"There are talks about a club? Then they should make us aware of what it is.
"It's not a case of being ruthless with Jovetic. He is a great person and a top player.
"(Fiorentina coach Vincenzo) Montella wants to coach him and build the team around him."
Chelsea were reportedly keen to sign Jovetic in January, but no agreement was reached with the Serie A club.
Jovetic, who joined Fiorentina from Partizan in 2008, scored 14 league goals in 27 league appearances for the Tuscan outfit this season.
