It seems that David De Gea could be in for a frosty reception if he moves to Real Madrid, at least judging by this video footage.
The Manchester United goalkeeper is strongly tipped for a move to the Bernabeu this summer. With just a year remaining on his contract, the most recent reports suggest the former Atletico Madrid player is leaning towards a return to Spain rather than remaining at Old Trafford.
Should he switch he'll find himself competing for a place in the Real Madrid starting line-up with Iker Casilla.
Casillas recently said that he and De Gea "have always got on really well" and that the current Manchester United stopper is "a really nice boy". However, judging by the footage filmed of the pair arriving for Spain training, the transfer speculation may have taken its toll.
On competing for a place with De Gea, Casillas told Cadena Ser: "I'm delighted with the competition. There's no clause in my contract which says I have to start, I have to compete and fight."
It appears the battle may have already begun.
