Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is preparing to get rid of Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema in the summer, according to reports in Spain.

According to Diario Sport, Perez is set on selling the pair no matter what happens this season and despite their success in all white, with the President wanting a fresh team for 2016-17.

The report claims that Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski and Chelsea winger Eden Hazard are being looked at as potential replacements - Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea also remains a target.

Perez is said to have 'grown tired of the rudeness' of all-time top goalscorer Ronaldo, the current Ballon d'Or holder, while he wants to distance the club from Benzema's current legal troubles.

The French striker is alleged to be part of a plot to blackmail Mathieu Valbuena over the existence of a sex tape.

Perez no longer wants to have a team that revolves around the talents of Ronaldo, 30, and will instead look to 27-year-old Robert Lewandowskiwho has 19 goals in 17 matches for Bayern Munich this season.

Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain continue to be linked with the Portuguese, who has 13 goals in 15 matches this season.

The money that will be raised by selling the pair will also go towards bringing David De Gea to the Bernabeu - the Manchester United goalkeeper was close to a move over the summer but a long stand-off and delayed paperwork saw the move collapse - while Chelsea winger Eden Hazard remains a potential replacement, despite his current form.

Seems a bit far-fetched.
