Nemanja Matic has been spotted in Milan over the international break, fuelling speculation that the Chelsea midfielder could soon be on his way to Serie A.

The 28-year-old had been linked with a move to Juventus in the summer after a tough season in 2015/16, but he has found himself a regular under new boss Antonio Conte.

Matic initially joined Chelsea for £1.5m in 2009 but left two seasons later after making only two appearances, only to return to Stamford Bridge from Benfica for £21m in January 2014.

The signing of N’Golo Kante in the summer has meant Matic’s position in the Blues team has become slightly more advanced that it has been previously, although he is still keeping Cesc Fabregas out of the side.

However, the picture has sparked rumours that the Serbian could be out of the Stamford Bridge exit door for the second time in his career with AC Milan and Inter Milan to do battle for his signature.

Matic was pictured in a Milan store trying on clothes with his agent Giuseppe Riso with AC Milan seemingly in pole position for the Serb after Inter spent big in the summer with the arrivals of Joao Mario, Antonio Candreva and Gabriel Barbosa.
