Several Chinese Super Leagues clubs are hoping to sign Alexis Sanchez in a big-money move which would gazump any contract that Arsenal could offer him to stay in north London.

Sanchez and the Gunners have been in contract negotiations since the summer and are yet to come to any sort of agreement over the Chilean forward’s future.

And, according to the Daily Mirror, clubs and agents from China have offered Sanchez a deal in the region of £400,000-a-week which Arsenal would not be able to compete with.

Although a move to the Chinese Super League may be a bit premature for Sanchez, the Arsenal star could use their interest as a way to get a more lucrative deal out of the Gunners.

Arsenal have never been the biggest spenders in the Premier League and have a current wage structure in place at the club which they are hesitant to break for Sanchez.

Sanchez is currently earning £130,000-a-week with Arsenal but he is determined to be the club’s highest paid player and, with only 18 months left on his current deal, Arsenal run of the risk of losing him on a free should they not meet his demands.

Olivier Giroud will not be leaving Arsenal in January despite falling out of favour with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger.

The French striker, who has scored five goals in 12 appearances this season, has become fringe player at the club in recent months with Wenger opting to make Alexis Sanchez his first choice centre forward.

Arsenal have thrived with Sanchez playing down the middle but Giroud has been limited to cameo appearances as a substitute alerting Serie A clubs Napoli and AC Milan, according to the Daily Express.

However, Giroud’s agent, Michael Manuello, insists he isn’t doing anywhere. “I’ve never been in contact with Italian clubs. Olivier is very happy at Arsenal,” Manuello told Foot Mercato.

“He’s going to finish his season here. Nothing is possible in January for Olivier. He has no intention of leaving this winter.”

Arsenal could be set to duel with north London rivals Tottenham and Liverpool for American wonderkid Christian Pulisic.

The 18-year-old has been a revelation for the US national team and his club, Borussia Dortmund, this season and the winger has forged himself a reputation as one of the most exciting talents in World football.

Goal understands that Jurgen Klopp is a big admirer of the tricky playmaker and is hoping to use his Dortmund connections to try and lure Pulisic to Anfield.

However, Arsenal and Spurs have also reportedly joined the hunt for Pulisic but Dortmund are desperate to hold onto their prized asset and are prepared to fight tooth and nail to keep him.
