Yannick Carrasco‘s agent has urged Arsenal to act rapidly if they want to reach a deal with Dalian Yifang before the close of the January transfer window.

Arsenal have reportedly opened talks with the Super League side and the former Atletico Madrid midfielder is keen to leave China after just 10 months.

The Belgian international, who was a member of Belgian’s World Cup squad, has scored seven goals in 26 games for Dalian.

Speaking to Radio Rossonera in Italy, Carrasco’s agent said:

“Everything is possible but it seems difficult to do so because it would take decisive and rapid movements by the interested clubs to discuss and strike a deal with his current club.”

It’s understood that Arsenal turned to Carrasco after a move to bring in Croatian midfielder Ivan Perisic broke down with Inter Milan insisting that any loan deal include an obligation to buy the 29-year-old.

Unai Emery‘s are also set to complete a loan deal for Denis Suarez today, with the Barcelona midfielder in London to complete a medical.
