Barcelona's Luis Suarez is a shock summer transfer target for Arsenal, according to The Sun.
The report claims that the Uruguayan striker, who was the subject of that £40m plus £1 bid made by the Gunners back in 2013, is Arsene Wenger's No 1 summer choice.
Suarez is yet to show the phenomenal form he showed showed during his time at Liverpool at Barca, having scored only five goals in 16 appearances in all competitions for the Spanish giants.

Despite the transfer of Krystian Bielik and the imminent signing of Gabriel Paulista, Arsenal could still make another signing in this transfer window, with the Gunners reportedly watching Empoli defender Daniele Rugani.
Real Madrid are also believed to be interested in the 20-year-old, who is co-owned by Empoli and Juventus.
Paulista to sent Paris...
Arsenal have sent Gabriel to Paris to speed up the completion of his transfer as they bid to get him in the squad to face Aston Villa on Sunday, according to the Daily Star.
The defender is close to securing his move to the Emirates, and has even undergone a medical for the club.
As work permit issues have slowed the move down, the Gunners have sent the uncapped Brazilian defender to France to make sure the paperwork side of things moves quicker.
Sissoko wants to stay in the Premier League...
Newcastle midfielder Moussa Sissoko has again spoken of his desire to stay in the Premier League, with Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United all reportedly interested.
French champions PSG have reportedly expressed an interest in the France international but Sissoko says he would prefer a future in the England's top tier.
The 25-year-old, who joined Newcastle in 2013, said in an interview with the French website Foot Mercato: 'My goal was to come to England because it was the championship that best matched my game and I do not think I am wrong.
"So I want to stay here and grow at one of the biggest clubs in England. I have a preference for the Premier League and I see myself staying here.
"I am focused on Newcastle. I have a four-and-a-half year contract so in my head I still tell myself I am still here for four years and a half. They appreciate me here and everything is good."
Campbell bids farewell...
Joel Campbell, who joins Villarreal on loan for the remainder of the season as part of the deal that brings Gabriel to Arsenal, has bid farewell to the Gunners, writing in a tweet: "Thanks to the whole family of Arsenal for their messages. I hope to make them proud."
