Arsene Wenger is weighing up a move for Brazil winger Bernard, according to reports.
Arsenal are close to completing a move to sign Chile star Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona, but, according to Goal.com, could make a move for the 21-year-old.
Bernard, who started in place of Neymar as Brazil were destroyed by Germany in the World Cup semi-final, is believed to be unhappy at Shakhtar Donetsk.
The 5ft 5in playmaker moved to the Ukraine from Brazil just 12 months ago but could already be looking for an exit.
Bernard has previously been linked with a move to the Emirates and is rated at around £20m.
The Gunners have also been linked with moves for Sami Khedira and Lars Bender in recent days, as Wenger looks to build on the success of lifting the FA Cup last season.
