Sao Paulo striker Alexandre Pato has refused to be drawn on rumours linking him with a switch to Tottenham Hotspur, but did admit his future is uncertain.

The 25-year-old has attracted the interest of Liverpool in recent seasons but remains in Brazil.

Spurs are on the look-out for a new striker despite signing Heung-Min Son from Bayer Leverkusen last week while their pursuit of West Brom forward Saido Berahino continues to stall.

"I don't know what's going to happen," he told the Daily Mirror . "I don't know if if it was my last game for Sao Paulo. I will talk with my agent.

Pato, who would prefer to stay with Sao Paulo, was speaking after his side's 3-0 win over Ponte Preta this weekend.

Mauricio Pochettino's men, meanwhile, laboured to a goalless draw against Everton at White Hart Lane last night.
