Burnley have dropped 24 points from winning positions in the Premier League this season, with only Brentford (30) losing more. Meanwhile, United have also let 17 points slip when winning this term, only losing more in 1993-94 (25). The Blades have the momentum and know that the Clarets have regularly allowed their opponents back into games this season!

ANOTHER SAVE! Muric has possession but plays a pass straight to Brereton-Diaz on the left. He drives forward with possession and looks for the bottom-left corner with his low drive, but the goalkeeper gets down to push it away.

WHAT A SAVE! How have the Blades not scored? Hamer has possession on the left and drives a pass towards the edge of the box and into McAtee. He takes a touch out of his feet just inside the box and whips his effort towards the top-left corner, but Muric makes a stunning save to push it over.

The Blades have conceded 36 first-half goals in 33 games, more than any other team in the Premier League this season. The hosts looked like they were the team the most likely to break the deadlock before the break but couldn’t find a clinical edge and were punished. Manager Wilder will be looking for a reaction.

The Blades will go into the tunnel stunned that they are two goals behind after dominating most of the first half. The hosts created an xG of 1.34 from their eight shots, hitting the target five times, but were denied by Muric, who has clearly recovered from a couple of difficult matches to make some superb stops. As for Burnley, they struggled to get going for long periods and couldn’t control the contest, but scored twice against the run of play to gain a comfortable lead. Berge has been influential against his former side, having 43 touches, completing 91.7 per cent of his passes and winning all five of his duels.

Burnley scored twice in two minutes near the end of the first half to gain a 2-0 lead over the Blades heading into half-time at Bramall Lane. The hosts had the best chances in the opening exchanges and should've taken the lead. McAtee's inviting cross from the right found McBurnie. However, the striker's first-time shot from close range was saved by Muric. Brereton's header was also twice denied the opener by the goalkeeper, who kept out his header before blocking his one-on-one effort. McBurnie's powerful drive was then tipped over by the Kosovo international before Burnley took a fortunate lead. Bruun Larsen's sliced shot took a wicked deflection of Bogle and rolled into the bottom-left corner before Assignon doubled the Clarets' lead with a poked effort from inside the box.
