Neil Lennon admits his Celtic side missed James Forrest against Dundee United at Parkhead on Saturday despite moving two points clear of Rangers at the top with an unconvincing 2-1 win.

"You can see how much we do miss him," said the Irishman. "We miss his pace and ability on the counter-attack and his final ball. [But] it's good that he has this sort of mini-break because he probably needed it."

Meanwhile Rangers' stand-in captain Steven Davis believes Nikica Jelavic showed once again why the club must hold onto him after he grabbed "two poacher's goals" in the 2-1 win over St Johnstone. "Jela can score a mixture of goals," Davis added. "Hopefully the club can keep hold of him."
