Hearts' head coach, Craig Levein, has warned his players to be on their guard against a rejuvenated Bordeaux. The French club sacked their manager, Elie Baup, after they slumped to 16th in the League and replaced him with Michel Pavon.

"They have played three games - won two and drawn one - and they haven't lost a goal," Levein said. "There has obviously been an improvement and they were already a good side."

Levein will be able to call upon Robbie Neilson, Mark de Vries and Patrick Kisnorbo. The defender Neilson has recovered from an ankle injury while the striker De Vries has shrugged off a knee problem.
