The Celtic defender Cha Du-ri yesterday lost his appeal against his sending off against Rangers at Ibrox last Sunday.
A tribunal at Hampden rejected Cha's appeal and a one-match suspension has been imposed with immediate effect, which means that the South Korean will miss the visit of St Johnstone on Sunday. "Obviously we think it was the wrong decision and we are disappointed," Peter Lawwell, Celtic's chief executive, said.
