Arteta struggles to make Rangers' semi-final side against Motherwell
Mikel Arteta is Rangers' major doubt for today's Scottish Cup semi-final with Motherwell at Hampden Park.
The Spanish midfielder is struggling with a hamstring problem at a time when the Dutchman Ronald de Boer has already been ruled out with a calf injury. However, the holders welcome back both Barry Ferguson and Lorenzo Amoruso from suspension.
Motherwell have Stephen Pearson and Tony Vaughan back from suspension, but Shaun Fagan is out with a knee injury and Khaled Khemas is also unavailable because of a thigh problem.
The Inverness Caledonian Thistle manager John Robertson hopes to have a full squad to choose from for tomorrow's semi-final against Dundee. The Premier League side will give late fitness tests to the the strikers Steve Lovell and Mark Burchill. David Mackay returns to the defence after missing their last game for family reasons but the captain Barry Smith is suspended.
