Neves, who has now scored 10 goals from outside the area during his time at the club, poised on the edge of the box as the corner was played short.
In a well-choreographed move, the ball then fell to him in space on the edge of the penalty area from where he fizzed a shot against the underside of the crossbar.
The goal came moments after Raul Jimenez had been denied by the inside of the woodwork as Wolves regained a foothold in the match.
Anthony Martial had given United the lead midway through the first half with a brilliant finish off his weaker foot. Watch Neves’ goal below:
