From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Arsenal have made two changes to their starting line-up for the trip to West Bromwich Albion as Arsene Wenger gives Kieran Gibbs a chance in midfield, having lost patience with Costa Rica forward Joel Campbell.
An injury-hit Arsenal team will be glad to welcome back Hector Bellerin at right-back at the expense of Mathieu Debuchy, who drops the bench, while Cambell will offer cover for striker Olivier Giroud who continues to lead the attack in the absence of Theo Walcott.
Walcott is one of a number of players still missing for Arsenal, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Aaron Ramsey, Danny Welbeck and Tomas Rosicky all unavailable.
Manager Arsene Wenger has included 17-year-old Jeff Reine-Adelaide among his substitutes, with the young Frenchman set to make his senior debut should he come on.
West Brom manager Tony Pulis continues to leave striker Saido Berahino on the bench as he keeps faith with Salomon Rondon. The Baggies’ starting line-up shows one change from the 2-0 loss to Manchester United a fortnight ago, with the suspended Gareth McAuley replaced in defence by Jonas Olsson.
