Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Arsenal‘s top four ambitions face another stern test when they make the short trip to Watford.
The Gunners fell to a 1-0 defeat against Everton last weekend, before falling out of the Champions League places thanks to Chelsea’s victory over West Ham on Monday night.
Arsenal did however restore some confidence with an impressive 2-0 win over Napoli in the Europa League.
Watford also have a lot to play for during the latter stages of the season, having reached the FA Cup final after coming from behind to beat Wolves 3-2 in the semi-final at Wembley.
The Hornets are also involved in a four-team race to finish in seventh, which may end up in possible Europa League qualification.

Prediction… Watford 2-1 Arsenal
Arsenal’s only away wins this season have come at Bournemouth and Huddersfield, and they will likely struggle here as well against a very physical Watford. The Hornets fought back to win 2-1 at Vicarage Road last year, and if Emery’s side continue to defend as they have in recent performances on the road they could be in for a repeat here.
