From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Didier Drogba returned to Chelsea over the summer with a remit to score goals and pass on his knowledge and wisdom to the younger players.
However, Jose Mourinho probably didn't expect it to extend to offering driving lessons.
A Vine has emerged which shows the Ivorian striker offering some guidance to summer signing Diego Costa as they drive a buggy around Chelsea's Cobham Training Centre.
After Drogba directs Costa in the right direction, the Spain international puts his foot down much to his own clear delight.
A giggling Felipe Luis also appears to enjoy the ride whilst goalkeepers Thibault Courtois and Petr Cech hold on at the back.
In the background physio Eva Caneiro can be seen filming the players' capers on her mobile.
Costa could perhaps return the favour to Drogba by showing him where the goal is. The Spaniard has scored seven goals this season while Drogba is yet to find the net since returning to the club.
