Mauricio Pochettino- Tottenham's top-four finish in our own hands

Tottenham will look to prepare for their Champions League clash with Ajax in the best possible way when they welcome West Ham to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Spurs have won all of their games at their new stadium, keeping a clean sheet in each of the four games.

The hosts have also scored eight goals in those games, the latest of which came late on on Tuesday thanks to Christian Eriksen against Brighton.

The midweek win saw Mauricio Pochettino’s side extend their lead over Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United in the race for the top four, with six points now separating them from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side in sixth.

Meanwhile, eleventh-place West Ham are trudging towards another uneventful end to the season but will hope to put a dent in Spurs’ form book and claiming bragging rights on the day.

Predicted line-ups

Tottenham: Lloris; Trippier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies; Dier, Wanyama, Eriksen, Alli; Son, Llorente

West Ham: Fabianski; Zabaleta, Balbuena, Diop, Masuaku; Rice, Noble, Anderson; Antonio, Arnautovic, Hernandez

Prediction…

Tottenham 3-0 West Ham – Pochettino may have half an eye on Tuesday night but Tottenham’s excellent record at their new stadium sees them enter this London derby as favourites. Spurs’ chances of finishing third have been greatly increased by the slip-ups of their London rivals Arsenal and Chelsea and they will want to consolidate that advantage here.
