Ahead of the Premier League meeting between Tottenham and Manchester City at White Hart Lane this weekend, we caught up with a couple of fans for their take on the match...

Tottenham Fan - Chris Deeley

It's probably fair to say that Spurs failed their second test of the season this week (Flamini!? Really!?), but the weekend's game against Manchester City is the chance to bounce back immediately, in style.

It's also fair to say that previous games against City have been... a little chastening, with an aggregate score of 16-2 over the last four meetings if you were wondering, but there are some positives here.

City are having a mini-blip. They've lost their last two games in the Premier League and Champions League against West Ham and Juventus respectively. Ignoring their midweek win over struggling Sunderland and they've looked a bit short of ideas of late.

Perpetual destroyer Sergio Aguero has only got one league goal this season and City could be in for a trickier afternoon if Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen can keep him quiet. Christian Eriksen should be back too, which will finally give Harry Kane some decent service up front. I'm expecting a 1-1.

Manchester City Fan - Nick Savage

City have had some pretty favourable results against Tottenham in recent years and I don't expect Saturday to be any different.

They will be hurting after the derby loss to Arsenal, but that shouldn't bother the boys in blue. Silva and Kompany should return and Pellegrini has almost a full strength team to choose from. Although Sunderland have made a very slow start to this season, the link-up play between Sterling and De Bruyne in the final third in midweek was sublime - assisting each other and wreaking absolute havoc on the Black Cats' defence. Add Silva to that mix and I'd be worried if I were a Spurs fan. The last thing they need is Aguero to rediscover his scoring boots - hopefully he will.

Spurs won't do what West Ham did and sit back. They'll want to come out and attack us. Probably the worst thing you can do when City are in form. Here's to hoping for a comfortable 4-1 victory.
