Tottenham striker Harry Kane pulled Spurs back from a goal down to beat north London rivals Arsenal 2-1 in a fairly one-sided encounter at White Hart Lane.

Arsenal looked to be on their way to another comfortable victory when Mesut Özil scored his third goal in as many games, but instead of pushing on the Gunners sat back and came under considerable pressure from their neighbours.

The Gunners were somewhat lucky to hold on to the lead at half-time, but the second half was even worse for Arsene Wenger's side as Spurs attack after Spurs attack rained down on David Ospina's goal.

The barrier was finally broken when Kane took full advantage of Ospina's flapped attempt to stop a Moussa Dembele header, and the striker hit the rebound first time from close range.

If there was to be a winner, it was going to be Spurs, and Kane ensured that when he rose brilliantly to head in Nabil Bentaleb's cross.
