Spurs, who will play all of their remaining home games of 2018 at Wembley, will allow 6,000 season ticket holders to visit the south stand of their new arena on 16 December.
Mauricio Pochettino said earlier this month that he is hopeful they will be playing in there by January or February, and ahead of the north London derby against Arsenal on Sunday, the Spurs boss could not hide his delight as the club moved closer towards their new home.
"It makes me feel very, very happy. It makes me feel we are close to competing there. It's an important thing for the fans to show our new home and it makes me very, very happy."
Spurs have won just twice in 30 matches in all competitions at Highbury and the Emirates during the Premier League era, but Pochettino believes his side can come away from their north London rivals on Sunday with all three points.
"The mentality so far is good, now it's about delivering the job. We have the belief and that is the most important thing in football and the faith that you can beat any team away from home," he said.
"The squad has that belief, with the right mentality all is possible.
"It's a special game, it's tough to play this sort of game, it means more. We know that it means to our fans this game.
"The players feel that and are aware what it means. We have a lot of players that have arrived to the first team from the academy and they know what it means."
Meanwhile, Erik Lamela is a doubt for Spurs' north London derby on Sunday. The Argentinian picked up a thigh injury in Wednesday's Champions League win over Inter Milan and will be assessed.
Kieran Trippier is close to a return from a groin injury, which has kept the England international out of the last two games.
