From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. Swansea started the season with a 1-0 win over Burnley but then lost their last two games to Hull and Leicester, conceding four goals in two matches. Having lost their skipper, Ashley Williams, to Everton in the transfer window the Swans may struggle to keep Chelsea at bay.

Antonio Conte has been a revelation so far at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea looks exciting and refreshed compared to their awful title defence last season. The Blue's are in good form and are strong favourites going into their Sunday afternoon game at the Liberty, having won six of out of their last six games.

It’s a big game for…

Borja Baston. Swansea broke their record transfer fee to bring their new forward to the club from Spanish giants Atletico Madrid. The striker scored 18 goals whilst he was on loan to Eibar last season but suffered a thigh injury soon after he signed for the Swans.

There will be a lot of pressure for the Spaniard to deliver this season, with his first game expected to be in this weekend's clash with Chelsea.

Best stat…

Except for their 1-0 victory over Chelsea at the Liberty Stadium, the last time Swansea beat Chelsea in a league match was in 1981. Both Chelsea and Swansea were playing in the old Second Division and Swansea beat Chelsea by three goals to nil.

Remember when…

Chelsea beat Swansea 5-0, with two goals each for Diego Costa and Oscar, topped off with a final goal by Andre Schurrle.

Mourinho's Chelsea went on to win the Premier League by eight points over their nearest competitors Manchester City.

Player to watch…

N'golo Kante. The French international was sensational for Leicester last season. He provided defensive cover, made interceptions and drove his team towards the title.

Now at Chelsea, he has slipped straight into the middle of midfield giving the whole Chelsea side an extra sense of reassurance every time he plays.

Past three-meetings…

Swansea City 1 (Sigurdsson), Chelsea 0.

Premier League, April 2016.

Chelsea 2 (Oscar, Fernandez), Swansea (Ayew, Gomis)

Premier League, August 2015.

Swansea City 0, Chelsea 5 (Oscar 2, Costa 2, Schurrle)

Premier League, January 2015.
