Manager Brendan Rodgers says he would be happy for any of his Swansea players shortlisted for Olympic selection to take part in the Games later this year.

Wales internationals Joe Allen, Neil Taylor and Ashley Williams, plus defender Steven Caulker, have all received letters informing them they are candidates.

Rodgers said: "If they have the opportunity to play it's fantastic – if it's good enough for Messi, it's good enough for others."
