The last time Stoke and Watford played each other was in the 2007/08 promotion-winning season for the Potters. They took on Leicester City on the final day and needed just a point secure a place in the Premier League for the following campaign. They grabbed a goalless draw and the scenes after the final whistle will live long in Potters’ fans memories.

ETIENNE CAPOUE: The former Spurs midfielder has started in great form at Vicarage Road since signing in the summer and is fast becoming a fans’ favourite among Hornets supporters. He looked Watford’s liveliest player in the 3-0 defeat to Arsenal last weekend and will be key to Watford’s performance at the Britannia.
