Your support makes all the difference.Ronald Koeman’s ever-impressive Southampton will be looking to further substantiate their top-four credentials with a fifth win in six in the Premier League when they host West Ham United on Wednesday.
Last out Southampton secured a 1-0 victory over QPR – their fifth consecutive away win – courtesy of Sadio Mane, who struck in stoppage time to put his team third.
The Hammers on the other hand found themselves on the end of a late goal this weekend, and come into the fixture on the back of a draw with Manchester United, where Daley Blind struck late on to ensure his side a share of the spoils.
Carlton Cole was included on the bench for West Ham against Manchester United, despite his deadline day disappointment, and has scored four goals in his last five Premier League games against Southampton, so may be due a start.
Meanwhile, Mane has scored four in his last five Premier League games for the Saints and appears to be their current biggest threat going forward.
This season Southampton have been defensively sound and have conceded the fewest amount of goals in the Premier League, while the Hammers have scored a league high of 14 headed goals.
