Whoever takes over at St Mary's faces a tricky start with away matches against Manchester United and Arsenal among the opening four games.
Koeman led Saints to sixth last season, their highest ever finish in the Premier League, and a reunion with the Dutchman will take place when Everton head to the south cost on 26 November.
Here are some of the highlights from Southampton’s fixture list to look out for:
First game
Southampton will face Watford at St Mary's on 13 August 2016.
Last Game
Southampton will play against Stoke City at St Mary's on 21 May 2017.

Bournemouth: 17 December (A), 1 April (H)
Over the festive period
Southampton will play over the festive period Tottenham on Boxing Day, West Brom on the 31 December and Evertpn in the first fixture of the New Year on 2 January.
