He's one of them at the club, and now Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hopes Marcus Rashford can join him as a legend at Manchester United.

"We all know the legends we've had at this club that have stayed here for so long and have been one-club players," Solskjaer said.

"We hope Rashy is going to be one of them. If he keeps producing he'll stay in the team and that's up to him."

"He's still only 21 so, to be fair to him, you don't expect the consistency yet in all his play, but he's always got that quality," Solskjaer adds.

"His finishing, his striking of the ball, his attitude, that's always going to be with him."

UEFA have also issued an explanation as to the penalty award that saw Manchester United seal a thrilling win and passage to the Champions League quarter-finals.

Referee Damir Skomina was alerted by the video assistant referee under the 'serious missed incident' VAR protocol, and after viewing replays he awarded the spot-kick against Paris St Germain defender Presnel Kimpembe because "his arm was not close to his body" when Diogo Dalot's shot struck it.

"Following the on-field review, the referee confirmed that the distance that the ball travelled was not short and the impact could therefore not be unexpected," guidance issued by UEFA on Friday morning read.

"The defender's arm was not close to the body, which made the defender's body bigger thus resulting in the ball being stopped from travelling in the direction of the goal. The referee, therefore, awarded a penalty kick."

Marcus Rashford scored the penalty to take United through on away goals.

James Milner has made 18 Premier League appearances this season for Liverpool, and Jurgen Klopp is hopeful that the 33-year-old will be available to make his 19th this Sunday.

The midfielder has been struggling with a muscle injury but Klopp is confident he will be ready for Sunday.

"It is Millie, so everything heals quicker with him. I think if you ask Millie he would say, 'I will be ready' but we have to see," said the Reds boss.

"He trained yesterday with the rehab coach and we will see what he is doing today."

To Cardiff now were there is said to be disharmony in the dressing room.

Questions were asked by Danny Gabbidon and Nathan Blake about team spirit at the club after the Bluebirds dropped into the relegation zone following three consecutive defeats.

However, manager Neil Warnock has dismissed any talk of a rift.

"If they've been in the dressing room when I've not been around I don't know," Cardiff boss Warnock said ahead of Saturday's home game against West Ham.

"Nathan is quite vociferous at certain times. I think Danny Gabbidon said something like that as well.

"When you lose three games like we have, you are flat. Your body language is flat and training is not the same. I don't think there's any rift whatsoever."

Asked about some murmurs of fans' discontent, Warnock added: "If I thought it'd be better to have somebody different in the place, I'd say good luck to them. But I think I'm the best one to get us over the line this year."

However, while Warnock has denied any rufflings in the dressing room, their will be a reshuffled defence for Cardiff this weekend after Sol Bamba's season-ending injury.

Bamba damaged knee ligaments in the 2-0 defeat at Wolves last weekend and Bruno Ecuele Manga is likely to be restored in his preferred centre-back position for the  fixture, with Lee Peltier remaining at right-back.

Harry Arter is also hoping to reclaim a midfield spot and Josh Murphy could return to the matchday squad after being dropped at Molineux.

To fellow relegation strugglers Huddersfield now, where midfielder Philip Billing has cast doubt over his future with the Terriers.

The 22-year-old Dane's contract expires at the end of next season, but he is expected to be a target for many Premier clubs this summer as the Terriers' own top-flight campaign appears to be drawing to a close with nine games remaining.

"Of course clubs will be interested, but I just want to think about the last nine games and make sure I perform and see what happens," Billing, who has emerged as an outstand prospect for Huddersfield, said.

When asked if his future lay with Huddersfield, the 6ft 6in Denmark Under-21 international added: "Yes for the last nine games, for sure it is.

"Whatever happens in the summer or next season, I don't know. Anything can happen.

"We might go down, I might stay, I might leave, who knows? But as it stands now I'm still a Huddersfield Town player."
