Jose Mourinho couldn’t hide his dismay with Chelsea’s fringe players not impressing midweek and will welcome his first team back into the fold, including the much anticipated return of Diego Costa.

Last Sunday Chelsea missed out on a win at Old Trafford with Robin van Persie snatching a late draw in injury time. This has led to many critics stating that Chelsea cannot kill a game off, and they will be in a bullish mood to ensure that all three points don’t slip away this time.

Queens Park Rangers managed to notch their first win of the season on Monday, brushing aside a struggling Aston Villa. They showed good form against Liverpool in the match previously and were unlucky to not take a point, so they come into this game in good playing form.

Harry Redknapp will also be pleased with Charlie Austin, whose lethal brace on Monday doubled his tally to four for the season.

Needless to say, with league leaders still unbeaten The Hoops will have their work cut out.
