From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

It’s a big game for:

Cameron Jerome: The Canaries have suffered a severe goal drought in recent weeks, failing to find the net in four of their previous six Premier League fixtures. The side urgently need their leading forward man to start producing if they are to have any hopes of maintaining their top flight status. Jerome has scored in both games against Manchester opposition this season but managed only one goal in his other 26 appearances.

Best stat: Alex Neil’s outfit have lost nine of their last 10 competitive fixtures.

Remember when:

Norwich director Delia Smith produced an extraordinary half-time rallying cry to supporters to get behind their team during her side’s 3-2 defeat to Man City.

Player to watch:

Sergio Aguero: An impressive tally of nine goals in nine games illustrates Aguero’s remarkable start to this calendar year. It seems almost inevitable that he will improve on this record against a Norwich side that has failed to keep a clean sheet in 10 competitive fixtures. The Argentina international’s announcement that he will leave the club when his contract expires in 2018 was met with dismay by the adoring City fans, but ample time remains for Aguero to further ingrain himself into City folklore.

Last three meetings:

Norwich City 0 Man City 3 (Aguero, Iheanacho, De Bruyne), FA Cup, January 2016

Man City 2 (Otamendi, Toure) Norwich 1 (Jerome), Premier League, October 2015

Norwich City 0 Man City 0, Premier League, February 2014
