From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

It’s a big game for...

Riyad Mahrez: Leicester’s Algerian winger had a blistering start to the season, scoring five goals as Claudio Ranieri’s side surged towards the top four. But two indifferent performances against West Ham in the Capital One Cup and Arsenal have led to question marks over his form. A big performance from Mahrez in Norfolk would prove the doubters wrong and show the rest of the Premier League that Leicester will not simply ease off.

Best stat…

196: Leicester have not lost away from home since going down 4-3 to Spurs in March - no away defeats in 196 days.

Remember when…

David Nugent’s winner sent Championship Leicester into the last eight of the FA Cup at Carrow Road?

Player to watch…

Nathan Redmond – The Canaries winger has lit up the Premier League since coming up with surprise package Norwich. The former Birmingham man is Alex Neil’s sides’ joint top scorer this season and Leicester must be wary of the England Under 21 international’s pace and unpredictability on the ball.

Jamie Vardy – The Premier League’s top scorer is in great form, scoring four goals in his last three league games. The England forward has struck fear into top-flight defences and Norwich’s back-line will know they are in for a long afternoon with the former-Fleetwood man around.

Past three-meetings…

Norwich City 1 (Hoolahan) Leicester City 2 (St. Ledger, Nugent), FA Cup, February 2012.

Leicester City 2 (Wellens, Gallagher) Norwich 3 (Hoolahan, Holt, Wilbraham), Championship, March 2011.

Norwich City 4 (Crofts, Hoolahan 2, Drury) Leicester City 3 (Waghorn, Fryatt 2), Championship, September 2010.
